What measures does iStor take to ensure the security and safety of my items?

Whether its household self storage, commercial storage or auto storage, security is our priority number one priority iStor Self-Storage. iStor takes great pride in protecting your belongings and strives to provide state-of-the-art security. We feature electronic gate with coded access, monitored video surveillance, fenced and well-lit facility, individual door alarms, corrugated metal constructed units and personal locks available for purchase.

 
 

How far in advance can I book a reservation?

We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.

 
 

What is your refund policy?

iStor Self-Storage will refund unused prepaid full month's rent upon vacating.

 
 

Do I need content insurance or does my home insurance protect my belongings in mini storage?

You need specific content insurance. Home or business insurance will typically not cover items stored away from your insured premises for a length of time. iStor offers affordable content insurance that will protect your possessions and provide liability coverage as well.

 
 

What is your cancellation policy?

Customers can cancel their storage unit with a 7 day verbal notice.

 
 

Does iStor Self-Storage require security deposits?

iStor makes renting space as easy and convenient as possible; therefore, we do not charge any security deposits.

 
 

When can I get to my belongings?

Customers have access 24 hours a day.

 
 

Do I have to give a month notice to vacate?

One day notice is all we need so long that your storage rental fee is current. Just remove your lock when you have removed all your stuff and let us know when you have vacated your unit so you do not incur unnecessary charges.

 
 

What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage space?

You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver?s license, citizenship card or passport).

 
 

How can I make a payment?

Payments can be processed by mail or in person. You may also arrange to have payment be automatically charged to your credit card. Please ask your Manager about this feature.

 
 

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our rental term is month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term payments. We also offer AutoPay. This program allows us to automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa®, or American Express® each month. We also accept debit cards, personnel cheques, and cash.

 
 

Does iStor sell boxes?

iStor has a large selection of retail items for moving, packing and shipping items, including, boxes, tape and newsprint, etc.

 
 

Does iStor have moving carts available?

Our facility has outside drive up units as well as inside units with access through a hallway. You?re welcome to use our complimentary dollies, hand trucks and pump truck to make your move easy and convenient.

 
 

What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?

We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 5x4, or 15 x 15. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our Store Managers who are trained to assist you in this process.
